The mother of Oscar-jr (i.e. 'Bob') was 45 years old when he was born.
In the 30-ties Bob was in Ingelmunster-Belgium at school. Later he had two years at the University of Michigan. He worked as a geologist in various parts of the world (f.i. West-Pakistan, Australia, ...). He was B-25 pilot in the Pacific Ocean during World War II. In the meantime Will-Ann got here son John. She moved to Sant Fe, New Mexico, were Bob saw his son for the first time, when he was 5 months old.
They tell that Bob and his father were not close. He was very bitter towards Oscar sr. for being sent to Belgium to go to school.
Unfortunately Bob became victim of alcohol. He could not longer support that life, and died at the age of 48.
